Co-designed cultural safety in Nunavik

Co-designed cultural safety in Nunavik, Quebec, Canada: proof-of-impact

Cultural safety is key to safe and appropriate health care for Inuit communities in Nunavik, Quebec. Through partnerships with hospitals in Puvirnituq and Kuujjuag and informed by the contributions of service providers, Inuit patients, and communities, this participatory project aims to co-design strategies in hospitals that address the persistence of systemic racism in health care and help improve cultural safety in Nunavik.
