Exploring equity, diversity, and inclusion in a home visits program to improve maternal and child health: A qualitative study in Bauchi State, northern Nigeria

The project is linked to the trial of universal home visits in Bauchi State, Nigeria. It aims to examine how and to what extent the design and implementation of the Bauchi State program of universal home visits incorporates the principles of equity, diversity, and inclusion, including through the eyes of the program implementers at different levels. Lessons learned in this project could be relevant for community-based programs in other low- and middle-income countries.
