Marie-Catherine Gagnon-Dufresne, PhD (c)

Marie-Catherine is a PhD candidate in Global health at the School of Public Health of the Université de Montréal. Her doctoral research aims at understanding the factors influencing community participation in public and global health research, by contextualizing knowledge from the scientific literature in the views of local stakeholders in Dhaka (Bangladesh). Drawing on her experience with various Indigenous communities, her research is anchored in decolonizing and participatory methods.
